[isp-wireless] Re: Something like Vonage
Tom,

Thanks for the info regarding some of the pitfalls Vonage currently places
in front of us.

We have a potential client that is paying $1300+ a month for a Voice/Data
T1. He has 12 voice lines and the rest of the T1 is data. I was thinking
about pushing Vonage for this application and providing him a 2-3mb
connection, but after reading your post it looks like I'll be doing some
more homework. I'm not so sure this client is going to be on board for 12
different phone bills! :)

So, while I'm out searching via Google anyone know of a Vonage equivalent?

Best,

Brad

Only three problem with Vonage, is they only take credit card payment, and
only can have one phone line per bill/account.
And the referrer site to give us commissions to the reseller is based on
just a cookie stored on the persons PC, and looks no different than the
Vonage main site URL. So if the user goes to add lines from another
computer on their own, you don't get your commission.

Talking about an administrative headache, for businesses that require
multiple lines. Clearly targeted to residential, very small business. I
wish their vision was a little more grand, and expanded their billing option
to a more professional level in line with the needs of businesses.

Think about it, the trend is how to get multiple services
Voice/Data/longdistance onto a single bill, NOT how can I split my Phone
bill into several bills.
